Center Policy

Our center policy aims to enhance the partnership between parents, teachers, and students in fostering an optimal learning environment. This policy is for ensuring the success of our learning center and the academic progress of your child.

Parents are advised to consult the official rules and regulations for any matters not explicitly addressed in the center policy.

Lesson Duration

Each lesson spans 45-55 minutes, commencing precisely on the hour and concluding before the next hour.

Punctuality

Students are expected to arrive promptly for their classes and be picked up without delay.

Tuition Fees

  • The Learning Fee for the upcoming month must be settled by the 7th day of that month (e.g., Learning Fee for December is due by the 7th day of December). In comparison to the official rules and regulations (Clause A.4.), and in consideration of the financial circumstances of some parents, we have extended the fee settlement period by an additional 7 days.
  • The Center Director will deliver invoices to parents through WhatsApp every third Monday or Tuesday of the month.
  • The Center Director will send payment reminders to parents via WhatsApp every first Monday or Tuesday of the month.
  • The availability of class arrangement is not guaranteed in the case of late tuition fee.

Withdrawal

We order materials for each student based on their individualized program and progress. We need sufficient time to be able to process withdrawals and comply to the process in official rules and regulations (Clause A.4.) in a timely manner.

Sending WRITTEN notice to the Center Director is mandatory, be it in WhatsApp or email, by 20th of the previous month. For instance, if June is the last month a student will be attending the class, parents are required to submit a written notice by 20th of May.

The fee deposit will be used to offset the final month’s fee.

Rescheduling Classes

  • Replacement classes are offered for sick leave, and only available for casual leave if one-day prior notice is provided. No replacement class will be offered for students who miss a scheduled class without prior notice.
  • No further replacement classes will be provided for students who miss a scheduled replacement class, with exceptions granted for valid reasons. Students may choose to pick up and submit homework for marking.
  • Replacement classes must be arranged within 30 days of the original class, and no carryovers are allowed.
  • If rescheduling is not feasible, students should collect and complete booklets at home.
  • All replacement classes will be cancelled in the case of withdrawal the study. Homework, however, can be taken.

Center Closing

  • By default, the Eye Level Center observes Malaysian and Selangor public holidays, with no classes held on major holidays. Replacement classes will be offered in this scenario.
  • If the Eye Level Center opens on Malaysian and Selangor public holidays, the Center Director will notify parents accordingly.
  • The Eye Level Center may close for specific vacation periods, not exceeding 2 weeks per year. Advance notice of at least one month, whenever possible, will be given to students and parents. Replacement classes will be offered in this scenario.
